The story of architecture and cities is overwhelmingly constructed by one dominant narrator. Systemic disparity in distribution of wealth, education, and opportunities inhibits new voices from wider backgrounds breaking into the mainstream. N.A.W. was started to address this imbalance. The programme has changed the critical landscape. It relies on voluntary work, donations, and multi-scaled altruism to continue to do so.
